Updated: Sep 25, 2023

Three tech start-ups, Kilele Health, Medical Interface Solutions, and Raider Technologies, affiliated with the Entrepreneurs’ Center (EC) in Dayton, Ohio, have secured a combined total of $350,000 in grant funding from the Ohio Third Frontier Commission. The funding comes from the Technology Validation Start-up Fund (TVSF) and aims to accelerate the development and commercialization of innovative products that have the potential to transform industries and improve lives.

Kilele Health, based in Dayton, received $150,000 to bring a wearable heart failure sensor to market. The sensor, developed in collaboration with the University of Cincinnati, detects chemical indicators of heart stress, offering real-time insights for patients and healthcare providers.

These start-ups are part of the EC's Entrepreneurial Services Provider (ESP) program, which supports technology start-ups and early-stage companies in the Dayton region by providing strategic assistance to accelerate their growth and stimulate the local economy. The Ohio Third Frontier initiative supports technology entrepreneurship and job growth across the state, aiming to make Ohio a top destination for tech entrepreneurs.
